English 30-2 is a diploma course designed to further enhance student literacy skills by immersing them in various forms of textual study.  Students will engage in print and non-print forms of text and will work to discern meaning, voice, and perspective.  As well, students will think and write critically, persuasively, professionally and descriptively not only on the chosen texts but also on personal and local topics.  Students write the Alberta Diploma Exam at the end of the semester.  This exam (Parts A and B) account for 30% of the overall course grade (implemented Fall 2015).
